Upcoming Online Courses

The MSLC is very excited to be the home of the development and support of some online and hybrid math courses offered by the OSU Math Department.  We currently offer:

  • Math 1116: Excursions in Mathematics
    • Online evening courses during fall and spring and online daytime course during summer semester.  This course requires synchronous participation during scheduled class times and exams must be taken with online proctoring software.
  • Math 1151: Calculus I
    • Flipped and Flexible Format (online lectures, recitations which combine in-person and online students at the same meeting time).  This course can be completely at a distance, but students must be available to log in through their computer at recitation time.  There are midterm and final exams which must be completed in a proctored setting.  These exams can be completed at the OSU Columbus campus or at another approved proctoring location.
  • Math 1152: Calculus II
    • Flipped and Flexible Format (online lectures, recitations which combine in-person and online students at the same meeting time).  This course can be completely at a distance, but students must be available to log in through their computer at recitation time.  There are midterm and final exams which must be completed in a proctored setting.  These exams can be completed at the OSU Columbus campus or at another approved proctoring location.

Summer 2025:

For the entirely online course, enroll in lecture section 14527.

The lecture for this class is online and can be completed at any time before the due date.  The recitation is online, but is live and must be joined during the indicated recitation time.

The lecture for this class is online and can be completed at any time before the due date.  The recitation is online, but is live and must be joined during the indicated recitation time.

Autumn 2025:

For the Flipped and Flexible course, enroll in lecture section 18387.

The lecture for this class is online and can be completed at any time before the due date.  You may sign up to attend the recitation in person or online, but is live and must be joined during the indicated recitation time.  Recitations are every Tuesday and Thursday and will be offered:

Extended Education Students are non-OSU students who want to take an OSU course for credit. First apply through the ODEE Extended Education Program and then enroll in the course.
